Wrist Pain

Wrist Pain is a very serious issue from many Americans. Most commonly wrist pain is associated with carpal tunnel syndrome. Tingling and numbness are the most common signs of CTS followed by weakened grip typically symptoms progress over time if the issue is not taken care of properly.

At Armstrong Chiropractic we will not rush to judgment when examining your wrist. While most cases of wrist pain are related to CTS, many are not. In fact, it is very common for CTS symptoms to exist when there is a neck misalignment, or other spinal conditions. Our nerves in the neck control every nerve in our arms and hands. If your neck nerves are being compressed, wrist and hand pain may result and in fact is a common symptom. In Dr. Armstrong is trained to determine whether your condition is a true carpal tunnel syndrome or something else.

In some cases chiropractic manipulation of the wrist or neck can be used to alleviate the symptoms of true CTS. If our Wisconsin Chiropractor determines the cause of your symptoms are due to a neck related situation, a series of chiropractic adjustments may be needed. If you are considering carpel tunnel surgery or have wrist pain and are for the first time seeking treatment, please do not hesitate to contact us for your confidential evaluation.
