At Armstrong Chiropractic centers in Appleton and Menomonee Falls WI, we believe poor posture is probably the single largest contributor to back pain and poor overall spinal health besides injury. The way you sit, stand, sleep and walk are all a critical part of your posture and all contribute to the health or injury of your spine. If you practice poor postural habits on a consistent basis, it can lead to long term injury to your spine.  An unhealthy spine can lead to many other health problems.

At Armstrong Chiropractic Clinics we will work with you to determine how your posture is affecting your health. Some things you need to consider when it comes to your posture are the following: Are you using the right chair, or the right pillow? Is your work area set up to avoid unnecessary bending, slouching, twisting or reaching? What can be done to ensure you are as close to optimal posture throughout the day? Maintaining proper posture is probably the best thing you can do to avoid damage to your spine.
